About Kobe

Kobe is the sweetest dog!! A 45 pound, 10-year old black lab beagle mix, Kobe looks like a mini-lab but his personality is pure beagle! Kobe gets along well with children of all ages. He gets along with all dogs and loves to be part of a pack. He's not so fond of cats, though, and has a strong prey drive. Kobe bonds quickly to his people and wants to be where you are all the time. He's not one to go outside and play by himself, but if you're out working in the yard, he's happy to join you. He LOVES running around and hunting and is quite active, but he's also quite calm and well-mannered in the house. A wonderful hiking/running companion, Kobe is learning not to pull on the leash. His recall is good and, because he doesn't want to be left behind, he'll even leave off hunting to come when he's called. Some of his other favorite things are going for rides in the car and splashing in the water. Kobe is smart, very tuned in to his person, active, and an all-round happy little guy. He sits for treats and learns tricks easily. Kobe is also a snuggle-bug and is happy lying on the couch watching movies in the evening as long as he gets exercise during the day.
