About Ellie

We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility. Ellie is fostered in Melbourne, FL (Brevard County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Ellie is a sweet girl of about 18 months and 45lbs. She is super lovable and gets along with all other dogs of all ages and sizes and she hasn't met a person she doesn't love. Ellie rides well in the car, she's housebroken, crate trained, knows all of the basic commands and she loves going to the dog park to see her friends. She still has the energy of a puppy and she would make a great running partner but as long as she gets plenty of exercise daily she will curl up with you while you watch TV or read. She is a bit of a bed hog but she is a great snuggler and loves to be near her human. Are you ready for some love and excitement? Ellie is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, current on vaccinations and preventives, and heartworm-free.
