We have had Peanut since he was approx 6 weeks old, he is a sweet boy that has had a hard run at life. Peanut had an accident at 9months that left him with only 1 eye, he is also deaf, which seems to be the more burdensome disability(which is why I listed fearful). He is currently unemployed and not getting the attention or activity he desperately needs as a 'working' dog (which is why I listed Anxious). I feel that Peanut would do well on a large piece of property with some chickens to herd around. He has had some exposure to chickens and seems to instinctively know what to do. Peanut Would also do well with another dog and plays well with most dogs :) He has been getting more and more protective of our family, which includes 2 girls under the age of 9. Peanut is very sweet, and those in our current neighborhood love him, however we will be moving soon, and, he recently bit a woman. Another dog was involved, one of his 'neighborhood buddies', she or I am not sure what caused the bite, I feel it might be because we have been gone a lot and Peanut has been lacking activity and attention. Regardless, it happened and is a liability we can not afford, and because of our busy lifestyle, we need to rehome him. We would like to find him a family with property so he can run and explore and get the right amount of activity his breed so desperately needs. Peanut is a Sweeet boy who needs more out of life.
