About Fuego

Please read the following carefully before responding. This is a rescue group foster dog so we need to ensure he is going to his best match. Adoption fee is $150 firm. We've spent over $700 in medical bills for him just in the last month. Application is also required. Fuego is a 5 year old male Chihuahua who was witnessed living on the streets in Phoenix for at least 2 years. He was finally caught and brought to us in terrible condition. He is emaciated, in stage 4 periodontal disease, covered in scars, nails growing into his feet, and was a cryptorchid and a torn apart ear. We had our work cut out for us! He is now adjusting wonderfully to being a house pet. He has been vaccinated, groomed, given an extensive dental, neutered and microchipped. He is slowly gaining weight. Currently he is 4.4lbs! He is a tiny boy and obviously, fully grown though he needs to gain another pound or two. Fuego needs to be the ONLY dog, no exceptions. He can co exist with cats if they leave him alone. He likes kids!
