About Gulliver

Adoption Fee: $250
Chihuahua
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Sweet little Gulliver has been melting hearts since he was found as a stray on the streets of Louisville, KY. Cold and alone he needed a miracle. The local animal control found him and brought him to the shelter where he found warmth and food. Gulliver couldn't stop shivering and it was soon realized that he wasn't just cold, he wasn't even afraid, he was experiencing tremors from some sort of neurological condition. The shelter workers sprung into action reaching out to the chihuahua cheerleaders at CRT. We gladly swooped in to wrap our loving arms around this soft and sweet handsome chihuahua. %A0 Gulliver suffers from alopecia, hydrocephalus, and cerebellar atrophy. To help manage his tremors, Gulliver takes steroids and omeprazole. This adorable little chihuahua does have a funny gait when he walks and going down steps remain a challenge that Gulliver cannot master. %A0 His little barks and cries beg for him to be held and comforted, all the time. That's all that this little guy wants in life: affection. Gulliver is happiest in the arms of his foster momma or being toted around in his carrier sling she wears. Gulliver does get along with other dogs but easily gets jealous if they impede on his cuddle sessions.%A0Gulliver does very well with pottying outside when let out regularly. He will also use puppy pads and grass patches in the home if they're made available. %A0 **Gulliver is currently being fostered in Sterling Heights, MI** Gulliver's adoption fee is $250.
