About Brownie

ometimes there are sad times in Rescue and this is the case with little BROWNIE... He was adopted from our rescue several years ago but as his owner is struggling with her own health issues, he has been surrendered back to us. He is a special needs kind of guy who will need a special adopter. See, he is diabetic and needs insulin shots twice daily...not really a big deal, but it must be given on a consistent schedule along with feeding a prescription diabetic dog food. The diabetes has also given him limited vision altho he gets around just fine in his foster home. He is a great eater, housetrained, travels well in the car, loves walks, loves naps and tolerates his insulin injections well. If someone would be willing to provide him a calm home for the rest of his life he would be so appreciative. Possibly a retired nurse or vet tech looking for a little companion? Or we can easily train the right person to give the simple injection. No kids, cats or rowdy dogs, please, not his style! He is neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are current.
