About George

Meet George! He is a 9 month old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) who weighs about 13 pounds! He's the sweetest little ball of energy! George loves companionship and likes nothing better than to be close to his person! Sadly, his owner had to give him up due to being diagnosed with cancer and facing an uncertain road ahead. They would love to see him settled in his forever home! He is fine with other dogs but he used to be an only dog so he likes to be the top dog when with others. He's also good with cats and kids! George enjoys going on walks and is doing great learning to be on leash. He likes playing with toys and can be pretty hard on them so a good quality durable toy works best for him. He likes to be close to his person at night in bed but we are also working with him on getting used to a crate should he ever need that. He responds well to a good, reliable routine and he is, for the most part, house broken. He just needs a little more patience and training in that area and he will be perfect! George is up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm negative and neutered! He is so looking forward to his own family to love on!
