About Stray Dog

He is a stray who is hanging out around the highway near our farm. I am already at max for adopted dogs plus he is a pit bull and I have chickens, cats, and calving mother cows around and since I don't know his history, I just don't want to risk disaster. When he was at the barn he didn't seem excited by the cats or the chickens. He is neutered - at least he doesn't appear to have any testicles. He is not dominant or hasn't shown to be when he's come around our dogs - meek and runs off; he wouldn't fight at all. No one has looked at his teeth to see his age. He is scared and won't come around us much except for food but he lets my husband pet his head a bit while putting down the bowl. I wouldn't say he'd been abused because of this and also, our neighbor was working on a car and said he tried to get in it - he probably thinks he could go back home if he gets back in a car. Anyway, he pushed right under the neighbor to climb in so he isn't too scared. If you can give him a good home please contact me.
