About Rainey - in NY

Rainey, age approx 18 months old, is one of the 5 Iowa dogs we volunteered to take of a 18 Great Pyrenees dogs that were surrendered.. Surprise! they were not all Great Pyrenees. We promised to take 5 dogs so we kept our promise. We took the time to get them well. They had round worms, pin worms, and hook worms which we treated They were severely underweight. What a sweet face she has. She is shy but warms up. We are looking for a foster home or a forever home with experience with dogs from a neglected back ground. She would do great with another dog to teach how great it is to be a house dog. She has been in a kennel. She will need a 5 foot high fenced yard minimum. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
