About Poppy

This is Poppy - our precious 4 year old tiny 4lb Chihuahua that we rescued from the Carson shelter where she was surrendered by her owner. Poppy is in good health and seems to be adjusting in her new foster home well. She is a quiet little girl, except when you leave, so we are looking for a home that has another young dog that can be a companion (we haven't seen her play yet) for her or where the owners are home most of the day and can take her everywhere with them. She has wonderful manners and just seems to enjoy love and affection. Poppy loves to snuggle and burrows under the blankets in her foster mom's bed and snuggles by her side. She is still getting the hang of potty training but seems to be a quick learner. Due to her tiny size we are looking for owners who are familiar with the tiny breeds and a home that does not have children. If you have extra love in your heart and home, Poppy would be so happy to have it all. This little lady is pocket size perfection! Poppy is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped WE ONLY ADOPT OUT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS WE REQUIRE HOME CHECKS AND A TRIAL PERIOD.
