About COAL

'COAL' is a precious, incredibly sweet & cute, 2 yr old, now 60 lb Lab mix male who we rescued from neglect. Now he is at a very healthy weight, happy & thriving. If there was a Dog Encyclopedia, and you looked under the definition of 'kind', there would be a picture of Coal. Loving, devoted, obedient, eager to please & bond ... Coal has helped other dogs gain confidence with his nature and gentle form of play. He is a great canine companion to humans and dogs alike (his best friend is Nala). Coal can be a little timid at first meeting, probably due to lingering trust issues, but warms up. He is a very special boy, and would make a great buddy dog for a single person, as well as a family dog. A gentle, quiet home would be optimal. Coal has been neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
