About Bucky

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Say hello to Bucky!! He is a very sweet boy that was brought to Texas A&M University Veterinary Hospital as a good samaritan case after someone found him limping along the side of the road. After exam and x-rays, it was discovered that Bucky had been shot multiple times and had buck shot, bird shot, and a large bullet fragment embedded in his front legs and torso. He was also skin and bones and heartworm positive. Bucky has come such a long way since we took him into our rescue! We've had him neutered and several BB's and the large fragment were removed. He gained weight, his coat is nice and shiny, and is absolutely the sweetest boy. Bucky loves other dogs and he even likes the kitties and the bunny! He does great around young children too. He is house and crate trained, and is a very smart boy who loves to please! Overall, Bucky is such a friendly boy and would make an excellent addition to any family! Bucky is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and dewormed. If you are interested in Bucky, please contact Amanda or Robert with Happy Landings Animal Rescue. Our adoption process includes an application, a meeting/play date with your future fur baby, a brief home visit, and an adoption fee. Our adoption fees are in place to offset veterinary costs (spaying, neutering, vaccines, deworming, and microchipping) and to ensure our dogs will not be used for dog fighting or any other malicious purposes.
