About Cannon

Hello! My name is Cannon, I am a 4.5 year old Jack Russel Terrier mix looking for my forever home. I weigh 24 pounds full grown. I am very adventurous and love to go exploring. My favorite place so far has been the dog park! I love to meet new dogs and love to run around with my four legged friends. I do well with people that give me a chance to warm up to them, fast movement startles me. I need a home with no children under the age of 18. Once I trust people I am a snuggly boy that will settle down with you on the couch to watch TV. I am very well behaved and I am house broken, and know how to use a doggy door. My foster mom says I am great on a leash though I can be a bit stubborn sometimes. I need a home with a yard, preferably with a bed in my favorite sun bathing spot. I enjoy the sun and hope to spend every day going on a new adventure with my forever home. I don't like kennels, and shouldn't be in one unless I am going for a car ride. I am not destructive so if my person leaves, I will make sure the only stuff I mess with is my giant pile of toys! I have spent 3 years at the shelter, I am now in foster and after 2 weeks I have shown everyone just how much a loving home makes a difference. I will need time and patience to move into a new home but with a committed home I will make a loving adventure buddy! Love, Cannon He has received a dental cleaning and polishing with a total of 4 extractions. Cannon also had xrays done showing he has numerous old fractures, consistent with being hit by a car. Surgery is not needed since the fractures are healed but the vet does recommend glucosamine. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, chipped, licensed, vet checked, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit.
