About Charlie

Hello. My name is Charlie. I am a handsome, lovable 5.5 year old Italian-Greyhound Whippet mix. I am fit and lean and weigh 19 pounds full grown. I am seeking a kind and patient human to love me. I am a shy guy at first and need some time to build trust because new people tend to startle me. Once I am comfortable with you I will be your most amazing companion! I love to cuddle and lay on your lap, I love car rides, walks, hiking, dog parks, easy on a on a leash and am potty trained! I also know how to use a doggy door. I am VERY good with other dogs and ignore cats. I don't like being cold so I prefer to wear sweaters in the winter. Overall, I am a pretty chill and happy lovable dog. I may just need time to trust and bond with you. Also, men tend to scare me at first so I may need more than one introduction if there will be a man in the house. It has been reported that I have bitten before, therefore I was returned. However, in my 5 months in my foster home, I have not done so at all. I am a wonderful little guy that has had a bit of bad luck with my previous owners and am now waiting for my new family who deserves me. Love, Charlie.
