About Kermit

Sweet, silly, energetic, smart, playful�'�|.this is Kermit. He is looking for a dog savvy person who is somewhat active. Kermit is athletic and has a lot of energy, but is also a cuddle bug and enjoys hanging out snuggling on the couch for movie night. Kermit is a young male, approximately 2-3 years old, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He weights approximately 45-50 lbs. Kermit has some basic obedience, and so-so leash manners. He gets excited to go for walks and does pull. He would benefit from obedience training, which is also a good bonding experience for dog and owner. He gets along with four other dogs that he is currently living with in his foster home. There is also a horse on the property that he shows curiosity about (through the fence), but will quickly disengage on command. Kermit has not had much exposure to children and has not been tested with cats. He is very fond of women, and accepts men if the approach is very slow. Kermit is fearful of loud banging noises such as fireworks, thunder, car or motorcycle backfire. He recovers quickly with a little reassurance.
