About Samson

Samson is an 11 year old male Silky Terrier. He weighs about 13 pounds. Samson loves to be with his people . He has bilateral cataracts and his eye sight is not good; effectively blind. He has learned the layout of our home well. Not a fan of the crate but will tolerate it. Very much loves your lap. He loves to snuggle and be loved on once he gets to know you. Samson does have trouble running into things but he will find his way around the house easily. He also gets along well with our 2 dogs.He is also doing very good with potty training, although we are not 100% yet. Good with dogs, kids and cats. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
