About Winnie Greyhound Mix

Winnie was surrendered to my rescue after her former owner took her hunting and when he was attacked by a hog, Winnie was afraid, so he shot her and left her to die. Fortunately, a wonderful woman picked her up, had her vetted and spayed and surrendered her to my rescue. There's much more to her story, but more than will fit here. We had her Wisdom Panel done and she came out a Greyhound Borzoi mix. She's an outdoor girl, but comes in the house when she wants to so is leash trained, crate trained, and loves cookies. Winnie will make someone in the country a wonderful pet. She has a sweet disposition and I think will adapt to indoors or indoor/outdoor life with a loving family. BUT WITH A BIG YARD SO SHE CAN RUN!!!!! No people with small yards need apply as she runs and plays when she wants to as well. She is a beautiful, free spirit here and if she's never adopted, she will live out her live here as a very happy sighthound. She is crate trained and leash trained. and she loves her biscuits, in fact, she's bowing for a cookie in the picture and wagging her tail. If she doesn't go to a very special home, she will remain here. Not available to other rescues or homes with small yards.
