About Dottie

RESCUE STORY: This is the little girl that was found and rescued on January 8th. She was curled up in a tight ball in front of an abandoned building in Augusta. Dottie was found in horrible condition by a sweet lady that knew she needed help and she could not leave her laying there. Dottie has gone through a lot of changes, as she has started to feel better. She went from a sick girl who didn't trust anyone, to a little lady that just wants to be played with and loved! She has continued to heal both inside and out! Dottie has lost all her sore spots and now has beautiful clean skin! Her fur is growing back and she is becoming an amazing companion. I LOVE food, treats and toys (especially ropes!). I also love sleeping on the couch and being close to my humans. I HAVE been working really hard on my manners, commands and learning to trust people. I had a late start learning to love and trust so I am still a little behind for my age. I am always happy to sit for a treat though. I am NOT food aggressive and will take treats out of your hand slowly. I GET ALONG WITH dogs and older children. I am still learning to be a puppy so sometimes I get too excited and will jump. I also tend to be a bit sassy and hold my ground if challenged or faced with new animals. My foster family doesn't have small children, cats or other animals so I am not sure how I would do with them. I NEED a little extra time getting to know people. I had a rough start early on in life so I am a little nervous around new people and places. It doesn't take me long to get comfortable though and once I do, I love to play and cuddle on the couch. I also need to be watched if left outside in the yard. I love to sit in the sun however I sunburn easily due to my white fur and thin hair! I AM kennel and potty trained. I do well on a leash and love to walk as long as I am close to my human. I learning be less apprehensive when approached by strangers. Adoption fee $200 Team Stinkykiss dogs are Spayed/Neutered (if of age) If they are not of age then we adopt with a contract for having that done~ Rabies vaccine ~DHPP Vaccines~ Micro-chipped ~ De-wormed ~ Heart worm Tested ~Our dogs are also kept on Heart Worm and Flea preventives through adoption~
