About Gio

Well, I will tell you Gio is much,much more handsome in person. He just happens to be a little on the quiet side and a bit camera shy, not a fan of the paparazzi. He would have a hat and sunglasses on if he could when he see's me coming with the camera! Gio is actually a happy and outgoing little guy that loves snooping around outside and exploring the yard. So many scents to sniff...Gio would love to be your walking buddy and be able to explore an entire neighborhood of new sniffs, sounds like cloud nine for this fella. He is just fine with the other dogs but may prefer to be an only dog, he is rather independent and seem to prefer human companionship over his dog buddies. Gio is very excited over a stray cat that shows up so we would guess he might not do well in a home with a cat. We say he is ok with kids, but we are saying ONLY older kids that will understand they need to respect his space. While Gio is a sweet little guy he is not a real hugger/snuggler. We are looking for a dog savvy home that has tons of time to spend with Gio, please no long hours alone. He will do well with a family that wants a nice quiet companion that also enjoys walks and time outdoors. Gio has been doing great with his housebreaking but his new family will also need to keep him on schedule with frequent potty breaks to keep him on the right path. We are guessing at his breeds, he could have poodle in there as well, we just do not know-we do know he is adorable!! Gio is 6 years old, 15 pounds. He is fully vetted, microchipped and recently had a dental even! He will be going home with plenty of supplies to help him settle in his new home, and the fee is tax deductible!
