About Midnight (west)

Midnight A4213126 This is EEYORE, a 4 year old male black and white Labrador Retriever. He has been at the shelter since Feb 14, 2019. Notes from one of our volunteers who recently visited EEYORE: 'When I approached the kennel, EEYORE was calm and laying on the floor. I presented him with hot dogs and he got up and came forward and softly took treats through the kennel door. I entered the kennel and Midnight went to his bed and then the outside of his kennel. He was very sweet!' Other notes indicate that Midnight may not like men very much, and prefer the company of women. He will need to learn to walk on a leash. Considering how long EEYORE has been in the shelter, he may begin to show signs of kennel deterioration. This happens to all social animals eventually when they have been incarcerated for long periods of time. They need social interaction whether with other dogs or people.
