About Eddie (west)

EDDIE - A4210084 My name is EDDIE. I am a male, yellow Labrador Retriever and Chow Chow. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old, and I have been at the shelter since Feb 04, 2019. Eddie apparently has not be treated well in the past. Although not an aggressive or fractious dog, he is very afraid of humans. He will avoid eye contact, but will attempt to escape, given the chance. Eddie is such a beautiful dog, it seems a shame that unless adopted very soon, he will be put down. All this poor guy needs is for someone to help him socialize into our world. Fear is a terrible enemy, and kindness and patience it's only challenger. Eddie has been in the shelter a month now, and will begin to show signs of kennel deterioration. This happens to all social animals eventually when they have been incarcerated for long periods of time. They need social interaction whether with other dogs or people.
