About Winston

Winston is an 8 year old male Terrier mix. He weighs about 12 pounds. Winston is a very loving dog that loves to cuddle. He is an older dog and prefers to be in a lap than out playing or chasing a toy. In the short amount of time we have been with Winston he has learned some basic commands and gotten well acquainted with the dog door. He has been with bigger and smaller breeds and had no problems. Winston has gotten along great with our Pomeranian and Chihuahua. He likes to go in the backyard and sniff around but doesn't spend too much time out there, he does his business and comes back inside. He has spent a lot of time in our laps on the couch or while we work in the office. Good with kids. Cats unknown. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
