Boomer came into our care January 2018 and was adopted July of 2018, into what we thought was his forever home. The owner switched work schedules and Boomer started peeing in the home, therefore that is why he was returned. Since being with us, he's not had one accident. Boomer is an 11 yr old GSP, looking for his forever home. He is older but don't let his age fool you, he's still very active and in great health. This senior guy is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, crate trained, and housebroken. He's been great with the other dogs, not sure about cats but that can be tested. He does have some possession issues with objects that come into his reach and we've been working with him on that and things are improving! It isn't necessarily a certain toy/object, just anything that you may try to take from him he gets protective of. Therefore, we feel he'd be best in a home without young children, even though in general, he's great with everyone he meets. He needs someone with time, patience, and love to work with him on his issues but he will make someone an amazing companion! His adoption fee is $250 with an approved application (plus the fee towards mileage for any home visit/possible adoption). There is more information on the adoption application.
