About Calliope

This beautiful kitty girl is Calliope who appears to be a Bengal/British Shorthair Mix. Calli is appromimately six years old, up to date on her vaccinations and negative for both feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus. A former dumpster diver, Calli was trapped at my office in the fall of 2014 and lived in a spare room in my office until recently moving to my residence. Weighing in at just under fifteen pounds this big boned girl is just coming into her stride. An introspective gal, Calli carefully studies her surroundings and takes cues from the other rescue kitties with whom she shares a room. Sporting big round green eyes, a snubbed nose juxtaposed with her marble patterned coat and primordial pouch, Calli is a sweetheart who will continue to blossom once she finds a human of her very own. A food monger, canned food will seal her friendship. While she is on the portly side this kitty girl enjoys playing with any toy on a string and is quite gentle when she does so. As she is dependent on the other rescue kitties for security, especially her gentleman friend Tybalt, a ginger cat, she would most likely enjoy the company of another kitty.
