About Acea

Meet ACEA, per foster mom, ' we call him 'buddy' , he is a Male Chi mix, 12 lbs, young adult approx 2 years old, shy pup, needs patient adopter until he acclimates. He has come a long way with me. He enjoys being part of a pack. He learns and takes cues from other dogs. A Home with another dog is recommended. Once he comes out of his shell he has quite the personality, great with other dogs, pee pad trained and does not mark and will also go outside to potty now. Went from being scared of leash to now walking enthusiastically around the neighborhood. Still shy with new people but once he trusts a new person he loves to snuggle and to be pet. He is learning that new people are great. He will 'play' peek a boo with people he doesn't know. He did bond with me in about 2 days so it doesn't take long. Crate trained. Loves playing with toys. Very food motivated. He also loves snow! He has absolutely no (fear) aggression. He chooses to run away if scared to his crate which doesn't happen often. His crate is his safe place. He will let you pick him up and take food or toys from him with no problems. Overall, he is a sweet loving funny boy. He has been with me since September 2018. He is still looking for his forever home.' Currently in NJ.
