About Frisco

Hello Frisco, hello! What a sweet boy this is! He is 6 year old Chihuahua who weighs 7 pounds. He was found as a stray and taken to the Animal Hospital of Pensacola but he was never claimed, so he came to us to help find him a new home. Like a lot of Chihuahuas, he makes a grumbly sound when you go to pick him up or pet him but he isn't bad tempered at all, it's just his thing! He seems to be house broken so far but he does mark in the house so we keep a belly band on him when he is inside. That behavior is common with unfixed dogs and that is how he came to us. However, once his body realizes he has been neutered, that will gradually start to change until he doesn't do it anymore. Frisco gets along with cats and dogs of all sizes. He has not been tested with small kids but does just fine with older children. He likes to be close by and enjoys sleeping and laying by you, as long as you help him on the bed as it is too high for him to reach by himself! He enjoys walks and does well on a leash. Frisco hasn't played with any toys yet but that may be because he never had any to play with before. He does love his dog bed though or anything soft to lay on. It's almost as if he never had anything like that of his own before and now he can't get enough! He is settling in well to the good life and looking forward to finding his furever home where he can finally learn about all the good things it means to be wanted!
