A5239798 Petey is a jolly 3-year-old white-and-toffee neutered male Pit Bull and American Bulldog mix who was transferred to the Carson Animal Care Center on February 23rd, from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center where his former owners surrendered him on November 27th because they were moving. Weighing 76 lbs, Petey is a clownish, fun-loving dog who loves to play with other dogs, people, toys--whatever he can get. Once he's had a chance to work off his energy, he'll reward everyone he meets with plenty of kisses and affection. A big guy with a big heart and puppyish energy, Petey would do best in a home with middle school-aged children or older and large dogs, given his exuberance and size. While he could use training, handsome Petey shows signs of being housebroken and our volunteers note that he takes direction well and is a fast learner. Petey is the perfect dog for an athletic owner seeking a jogging partner, a hiking buddy, or a happy-go-lucky playmate to take on adventures.
