About Buddy

Buddy is a very special 4 year old Papillon mix who is looking for his perfect forever home. He weighs just under 12 pounds and is full grown. Buddy has been with AZSDR for 3 years, he was originally found as a stray. He was feral and never came around to people. Buddy is still scared of new people but given time, lots of treats and space he is capable of coexisting with people. He needs a home with no children under the age of 18. Buddy does great with other dogs his size and will need a canine companion in his new home. He needs a dog that will help him understand that people aren't so bad and hopefully gain trust with his humans. Buddy does not do well with cats and will also need a feline free home. He will need a home that understands he will need time and patience to get comfortable. Buddy is kennel trained and knows how to use a doggy door but may need some additional house training. He loves being able to go outside to relax in the sun. Please bring everyone in the home to meet Buddy and sped some time with him, also bring any dogs living in the home. Buddy will require a home check before adoption. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked.
