Doc is about one year old. He weighs about 65lbs and he's a friendly affectionate dog. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard and at least one other dog. He feels 'normal' when he's with a dog pal because alone he becomes withdrawn and can be protective. He is great with children, is quiet, doesn't shed, loves being outside in the yard and loved to cuddle. He is house trained! His ideal home would be one without a lot of traffic. He is scared of strangers and he will retreat or hide if there are too many new people. Once he knows you, which doesn't take long, he will become your best friend. He is gorgeous and just an overall sweet dog. We don't know about cats. He was with a foster who could answer all your questions. He is house trained, walks good on a leash and fully vetted. He hasn't met a dog that he doesn't like! Our vet loves him as do we so we are really looking for the ideal home for Doc. We want to set him up for success not a failure. Please help Doc, when the dogs sit for too long they are deemed un-adoptable. He is very much suited for some one - he deserves to live a full life with love and security.
