About Abby

Abby is our 10 year old 11lb long haired Chihuahua /Spaniel mix who couldn't be sweeter! Abby came to us after she was hit by a car, and a Good Samaritan picked her up and took her straight to our vet. Fortunately her injuries were superficial. Abby was definitely an abandoned dog, so we brought her into our foundation. She has recovered from her injuries and is doing so well in her foster home. She is quiet and calm (we have never heard a peep out of her) and just perfect with everyone! She is great with dogs and definitely a submissive pup who just enjoys companionship although we have seen her initiate a little light playing with the other pups. She is a good eater but because she had many bad teeth pulled she needs a special diet of soft home cooked meals. Abby has the cutest 'tongue to the side' which makes her even more unique! Our requirement for a forever home for Abby would be owners who are retired, work from home, or not gone long hours during the day. We would also like her in a home with another submissive and calm dog because she really does enjoy the companionship of another pup. Abby has such a serene and tranquil personality that she could be an apartment or condo dog. Abby would do best in an adult only home or with older children since she prefers a calmer type environment. Do you have room in your heart and home for this amazing little lady? Abby is now spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. WE ONLY ADOPT OUT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS A HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED
