About Sam

SAM is a very sweet 40lbs, 2-3yr old, high-energy aussie shepherd and cattle dog mix. Sam was abandoned and found running through the streets in not good shape. After several months on the streets, his ears had been chewed raw, he was dirty, malnourished, and untrusting. We brought him into our foundation and got him immediately groomed and the vet care he needed. We put him with one of our excellent fosters, where he is getting good food and lots of love. Since his rescue several months ago, Sam has shown that he is very loving and extremely smart. He is super sweet and adores attention, but is still a bit timid from his early life traumas. Sam would do well with room to run and regular exercise. He is good with other dogs and would thrive with a furry sibling, or be okay as a single dog with an owner who can be with him a lot. Experienced Aussie Shep/Cattle Dog owners are a plus. Sam cannot go to first time dog owners, as he needs an experienced owner. Sam is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines.
