About Maggie

Are you looking for a happy-go-lucky, lovable, fun loving dog!? Then you need to meet Miss Maggie! Maggie is such a joy to have around. She will run and leap right into your heart. Maggie is very sweet, super friendly, not dominant, gentle (especially for being such a large puppy), very smart, easy to train, and an all around great puppy! Maggie would do great with an active family that has kids or with an active adult who loves to go on adventures. She is meant to live the Colorado lifestyle! Maggie LOVES water. Her foster mom throws some toys in a baby pool and Maggie has a blast! She is dog friendly and responds well to 'dog language'. She is submissive and does well with lots of different types of dogs. She especially loves to chase and wrestle with other dogs that are her size and larger. Maggie is house trained and crate trained. She walks well with a leash and harness. Maggie is working hard to learn basic commands. She is SO SMART! She is food motivated and eager to please. She already knows 'sit', 'come', 'lay down', 'lets go potty', and 'go in your house' (crate). She is working on learning 'paw', 'stay', 'hush' and 'off'. Her foster mom hopes to get her to learn as much as possible while she has her. Maggie is very loyal and bonds quickly to humans. She is very sweet and likes to give kisses and lay at your feet. Her foster mom spoils her and allows her to have some cuddles on the couch too. She does great in the car, on walks, at dog parks, in crowded areas, in the home and in the yard. Sometimes she can be timid at first but she opens up very quickly! She is still a young puppy with LOTS of energy and will test her limits. She needs a home that can keep her active, playing, socialized and continue her training. Maggie would probably love to go camping and hiking as well. She truly is the perfect Colorado dog. Maggie is about 45 lbs and about 8-10 months old. Maggie's adoption fee is $300.00 - she is spayed, up to date on all her puppy vaccinations and chipped.
