UPDATE MAY 26, 2019 - RAY'S EYES HAVE BEEN FIXED !! My name is RAY - ID# A4212069 I am a male, white and blue American Pit Bull Terrier, and the shelter staff think I am about 4 years old. I was brought in as a stray, and I have been at the shelter since Feb 08, 2019. 05/26/19: The following is what Ray has been dealing with for a very long time. He has finally had the surgery needed to fix his eyes, and he is ready for a new home. Back on Feb 13, 2019: Imagine feeling like you have sand in your eyes all the time. That is what Ray feels like daily. He has the worse case of entropion I have ever seen. This condition is where the eyelashes roll inward and constantly touch his eyes. It's obviously affected him a while, probably uncomfortable and his eyes may even have some scarring from the constant trauma of his own eyelashes rubbing on them. He maneuvers well but you can tell has some issues seeing. Ray is a sweet and gentle dog who needs a hero to step up and save his life. He is a bit timid and currently is a project dog and a family and dog intro is recommended. 'URGENT' If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP = 520-800-4633 *NOTE: This dog is now located at MCACC West: 2500 S. 27th Ave, Phoenix AZ 85009
Maricopa County
Phoenix, Arizona 85001
