About Mantis

Mantis is back with us and we are all heart broken. For those who do not know her, this is Mamma Mantis. A dog that has been failed time and time again by people. Mantis originally came in with her puppy back in 2019. She sat back there for what felt like forever. She has some old scars and it was clear she has been bred more than once. She was eventually adopted out, but was brought back to us in 2022 after being in a home for two years. She was living with another dog at the time but unfortunately decided she wanted to be an only child so her family had to bring her back to us. Mantis does ok around dogs outside of her home, but wants to be the only doggie in her house. A few months ago, Mantis was pulled by a rescue and we thought she was out of here for good. Unfortunately her foster family decided they no longer wanted to take care of her and gave her away. Thankfully after all of the bouncing around she had to do the last couple of months, she found her way back to us. we are now once again on the hunt for a rescue or a new FOREVER family for Mamma Mantis! We will NOT let this happen again. She deserves to get out of here and STAY out of here. Mantis is a high energy happy silly fun girl and being in a cage everyday was pretty hard on her the first time around, and the second�'�|. so we're hoping to get her back in a home setting as soon as possible. What she needs is a yard to play and and a family to love her (and maybe throw a tennis ball for her too ���S) She is such a kind soul and her spirited energy will be sure to put a smile on your face.
