About Annah

Dutch Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Annah: Also known as Annah banana, nonners, or baby bear 2 year old female spayed, up to date on all shots/vaccines, very healthy. Comes from a malidutch breeder in Port Sydney Ontario Geoff and Lisa Vanderkloet. Mother Fury is from hardcore K9 Jim Deutch who got his dogs from military/working lines. Father Nitro is From knvp lines with Van Leeuwen lines. Annah was the Largest female of the litter and second largest pup of the litter. Owners Allison and Chris lived on Bass Lake Ontario, lots of room to run, and swim. Also had a 3 year old Dominant Female Dutch shepherd Elsa. Brought Annah home at the age of 7 weeks. Elsa and Annah we're inseparable and loved each other from day 1. Enjoy playing tug of war, running together, and play fighting. Experienced some trauma at 5/6 months old. Owner Chris died in a terrible snowmobile accident and was missing for over a month. Annah was around a lot of crying, stress, helicopters, search parties. Owner Allison and the 2 dogs had to leave their bass lake home and they moved to Nobel Ontario to live with Allison's parents. This was an adjustment but ultimately both dogs settled in great. They receive regular exercise, and are very happy. Nobel home is located in the bush with walking trails, and close to Georgian Bay for swimming. Also Both dogs enjoy running with motorized vehicles (atv/snowmobile) Summer of 2018, Elsa and Annah had their first fight. This happened again consistently on a 3-4 month basis some leading to vet visits. The most recent event happened January 31st 2019 both dogs were injured badly. Owner Allison has decided that this cannot happen anymore with fear that one or both dogs will eventually die. Re-homing the youngest Annah is the most realistic and best option. Both dogs deserve to live their best life. This cannot be achieved together unfortunately. Annahs specifics: Very loving, and goofy she likes to be right by your side and have lots of attention. She is nervous/skittish doesn't like thunder storms, loud noises, smoke alarms, fireworks, ceiling fans, shaking of garbage bags, or folding of laundry. (Pretty much any foreign noises) I think the trauma when she was younger caused this. She's very active, enjoys walks, runs, swimming, and is addicted to playing with balls! Was never around children or other dogs/animals (except Elsa) The use of a Garmin electric collar is used, Annah however responds to the 'tone' setting the best. She can be on leash, but 99% of the time leashes weren't used. She never runs away and likes to always keep you(owner) in sight. She will go outside alone but much prefers having someone with her (she likes to always be close) She wasn't crate trained. She is good left inside the house while away. She does like to get up onto furniture. She has many dog beds throughout the home too. Annah is a good listener, sit, stay, come, leave it, lay down, pillow/bed, etc Annah has a big heart, and can be very sensitive. Annah loves giving kisses, hugs, and needs her belly rubs! Annahs diet: Gets a bowl of food in the morning and a bowl of food at dinner time. High grade no filler: TLC dog food or Taste of the Wild. Loves bones, cheese, tuna/salmon, raw eggs. Annah loves food and treats! She's a piggy! Annah will bark when visitors come into the driveway/house. This has been discouraged from day 1 (no barking, bad, no barking) Annah is an amazing dog/family member. She deserves the best life possible and all of her needs met. She is a beautiful, caring, healthy, sensitive girl and ultimately a big suck/baby! Contact by : [email protected]
