About Cookie

Cookie, our 10lb Chiweeni, is finally ready for her Forever home! She has overcome so much and is really a sweet little girl. She has recovered from some past trama and is seeking that someone or someones who can appreciate how special she truly is! Cookie is 6 to 8 years old, and she has been spayed, is UTD on all shots, and she even had a dental this week. She is bowlegged, but it doesn't affect her getting around at all. We did have her xrayed to check her over in December, she has recovered from her injuries, but as with all dachshunds or dachshund mixes she should limit her jumping off furniture, stairs, etc and she should live a very long and heathy life. Cookie wants to be, and we think she MUST BE an only dog as she has some food/treat aggression issues, she usually doesn't mind dogs if no food or treats are involved. She is house trained, even scratches on door, but will use a potty pad in bad weather. She loves it out side so a back yard would be great, or hanging on your couch with you. With Cookies past, we don't recommend small children to be on the precautious side. Cookie does not like car rides, so someone looking for travel companion is not ideal.
