Bear and his sister, Betsy, were originally brought to us (along with 6 littermates) as bottle babies. These two were adopted together, but they ended up getting larger than the family anticipated - Betsy weighs in at around 50 lbs, but Bear is much larger. Betsy is by far the dominant one of the two, and she is not fond of dogs who aren't Bear. She has a natural protective instinct. This means it takes her longer to feel comfortable with new people, but when she trusts you, she's a friend for life.
