About Emma

Emma needs to go to a home with only one or two adults and no children. She is very loyal to one adult now and is fine with my husband and kids, however she is not friendly to any other children so I cannot place her in a home with children. She is not a friendly dog at first and takes quite some time to warm up to anyone. She has never bitten or caused any human or animal harm, however she is quite the barker, she barks at all strangers. She does fine with my adult female Puggle and adult female cat. I love this dog and the only reason I need to re-home her is because she escaping our privacy fence and electric fence daily. She can not be kept inside anymore because she can't be left alone while we are at work 12+ hours without tearing up things and using the restroom inside. She also does not do well with crates. Emma needs a home to sit in someones lap all day that can take her outside every hour. We took Emma in when someone abandoned her and we love her, but my family's schedule is not good for Emma. Once she gets to know you she is loyal and will lay in your lap and love you all day. She turns one this month and could make someone a great companion for many years to come. Emma is chipped, spayed, and up to date on all shots.
