About Skittles

Due to a drastic change in the health of her elderly owner, Skittles is looking for a forever home. Skittles has the 'classic' Chihuahua look...rounded forehead, upright ears, dainty legs, and a soft white and caramel coat. She loves to snuggle and play in equal measure. She's athletic and will shadow you on a walk, sometimes keeping so close, you can't see her when you glance around...because she's right on your heels! She responds well when called and is an eager but well-mannered traveler in a vehicle. Skittles' top lip curls back ever-so-slightly when she's happy, and it looks like she's breaking into a smile. She takes ballerina-style steps with her long, dancing legs. She is around 7 years old and has no health issues. We would love to place her with her best friend, Pebbles, to tag-team through life with their new owner (please see the Rescue Me entry for Pebbles).
