About Buckwheat

Adoption Fee: $100
Pointer mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Buckwheat Look at this precious and oh so scared face. This little nugget is known as Buckwheat. Buckwheat is thought to be six months old. He, along with his buddy Spanky, were found wandering the mountain roads alone and afraid. A kind person picked them up and took them to the local veterinarian to see if they could help. Unfortunately, no one was looking for Buckwheat or Spanky. The vet asked if we could help find their forever homes. We gladly took both of them in on January 25, 2019. Buckwheat is a red/white pointer mix. He is wonderfully affectionate and very active. He looks like he might be a medium sized dog when he grows up, but it's hard to say for sure. Buckwheat loves people and other dogs, and is indifferent to cats. Buckwheat walks well on a leash and seems to ride well in a car. We don't think he's house trained, but he is smart and with consistency and patience, he'll learn quickly. Buckwheat is current on vaccinations and he is neutered. If you're looking to add the cutest little nugget to your family, come meet our Buckwheat...and Spanky. Who knows you might fall in love with both of them.
