About Sadie

Foster Location: Boise, ID Adoption Fee: $50 Age: 10-12 years old Breed: Chihuahua spayed, vaccinated, microchipped Sadie is an older lady who really just needs a forever home that will care for her in her retirement years; while we love having her as a Fuzzy Pawz foster dog she deserves a family to call her own. She is really mellow and enjoys napping most of the time. However, when she has had a good night's sleep, and gets the zoomies, watch out! She will jog around the yard, and briefly wrestle with the younger dogs in her foster home. She loves to sniff around the yard for treats, and bask in the sunlight. Her favorite toy is a stuffed slice of pizza. Sadie does alright on a leash but shows little interest in doing long walks, but she would enjoy the occasional trot around the block. She doesn't know any common commands, but nothing says she won't try to learn! Sadie wasn't potty trained when she first arrived in her foster home but she has definitely improved! She is now holding it through the night (although she has a pee pad for backup) and will go to the back door when she needs to go. Sadie is a really sweet girl who, now that she is feeling better, wants to snuggle up to you, or nudge your hand for a belly rub. She really just wants a soft place to land to live out the rest of her years. With no major health issues, we think she's got plenty of years left. Sadie would do best in a home that can give her a quiet place to rest and a nice safe yard that she can cruise around.
