Why adopt a dog when you can adopt a Greek goddess? Greetings mortals, it is I, fair Olympia! I have descended from my throne atop Mount Olympus to grant you perhaps the most important opportunity of your lifetime- adopting me! I am currently in search of my forever kingdom complete with a shiny throne room and grand, gravity-defying chariot, but I am also perfectly content watching you eat fistfuls of chicken nuggets in your Dodge Neon. What can I say, I am a gracious and forgiving goddess. I am around two years old and great with medium and large dogs (no small dogs please) and kids, but I do not get along with cats. I have not had any accidents in the house so far, but I am currently living in a very controlled environment with a watchful foster mom. I would love to find a home with another dog, but that is not a requirement. Apply to adopt me, Olympia, at augustadogadoptions.org Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
