CALLIE - A4178967 My name is CALLIE. I am a spayed female, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Jan 10, 2019. Callie is still looking for her forever home. This precious girl, A4178967, is currently at our West Valley Animal Care Center. Kelly took her out on an outing yesterday and this is what she had to say: Callie did great today! Met a lot of kiddos at the event and sat very patiently and let them all pet her! She loves car rides and after the event, we took a walk around South Mountain and then took a snooze. Callie would love an adventure partner who could help her practice her leash skills. She's super eager to learn, but doesn't know her own strength. A few other notes from when I had her out for a weekend foster: Housetrained; Crate trained; Not destructive in the house at all; Hasn't met a person (or a treat) she doesn't like. Did do a meet and greet with my small dog and it appears she'd do better without them!
