About Jakey (west)

JAKEY A4203421 Jakey is a 2 year old neutered, male blue and white American Pit Bull Terrier. He has been at the shelter since Jan. 13, 2019. Jakey is a sweet, nervous, young pup. He is easily removed from, and returned to, his kennel. No reactivity to other dogs was noted. He actively sought affection from handler with soft body language. He did begin to fence fight in yard but was quickly redirected with easy cheese. No further fence fighting observed after first correction. This dog lacks confidence but warmed up quickly to handler with gentle corrections and guidance. Jakey has been placed on the euthanasia list, and this is his last appeal for adoption.
