OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. My name is BeBe. I am a long, tall drink of water, something like one of those newborn colts that doesn't know what to do with their long legs. I've finally gotten the hang of it, but I seem to be more stable if I zoom from one place to the next so I don't fall down. I have a beautiful brindle coat of dark chocolate and caramel, long hound ears and the most adorable cowlick running the entir e length of my nose. My favorite thing to do is sit in your lap, but if I must, I will cuddle with the tiny here at the house, 'Konroe'. She's pretty cool, and we coordinate very well. I'm getting the hang of potty-ing outside most of the time, and I don't mind the crate at all. I love playing with my pal Enzo, the 70 pound rockstar of a Pittie, and I'd play with Wrigley if he would let me, but he gives me a quiet little growl and I move on by. I think I can read pups pretty well and so I just leave him be. Pretty smart for a young pup, I'd say, wouldn't you? BeBe is a Female Plott Hound Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/1/2018 and currently weighs 12 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
