About Lucy Mae

Lucy Mae is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Lucy Mae is currently fostered in Englewood, FL (Sarasota County). Lucy Mae is a heeler x hound of 1-3 years and about 27 lbs. She would greatly benefit from a new foster home that can work with her on confidence. She gives hugs, loves to be outside, and is velcro with known humans. Lucy Mae currently pancakes, crawls, grovels and goes belly up around newer people. She has so far only lived with women in rescue, so she has not been evaluated with men or children. She does nip when excited, a heeler trait, so young kids are probably not a good idea. She does fine with other dogs of all sizes and ages. Lucy Mae is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and bound to the vet soon to ensure she is up-to-date on everything.
