About Lottie

Lottie is a Shar Pei mix that appears to be around 50 pounds and is 3 years old. She was found as a stray and was never claimed. Lottie was wandering a small town and wouldn't come to anyone, with the falling temperatures and inclimate weather, she was trapped in a humane live trap to be brought to safety. She warmed up very quickly to her finders, whose main goal was to get her to safety. Because of this experience, we feel Lottie needs a securely fenced yard. Lottie is very affectionate with her people and is house trained and crate trained. She is quiet in her crate, but does cry for her people if she knows you are around. Lottie would do best with older children until we get to know her better. We imagine she would be fine with any child who is gentle. She is very gentle with treats and food. Lottie seems to be interested in other other dogs, but has also been a bit growly with others. We are unsure how she would do with cats. Adoption includes spay, up to date vaccines, heartworm testing, and a microchip.
