Gus came from a high-kill shelter in SoCal. In the two short weeks I've had him, he has adjusted very well and is comfortable in his new surroundings. Gus is 7-8 and is in very good health. The vet remarked that his teeth were very good. He walks and runs fluidly. I recommend a home with older children not because he jumps because he doesn't. He is just a large dog at 80#. He gets along well with several dogs big and small. He is way too curious about cats so I would say no. Gus loves to eat! Although fine with other dogs, his focus is his human. He loves men and likes nothing better than a trip in the car. Gus follows me everywhere even into the bathroom! He is crate and house trained. Overall exceptional GSD. He will make someone a phemonenal companion - mellow, gentle and loving. Neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. Come to the Skagit Valley (north of Seattle off the I-5) and meet Gus!
