This pretty girl was found as an unclaimed stray and is the sweetest thing. She is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. Winky is a shy, timid girl. She's very quiet and spends her time split between lounging in her crate or following her trusted humans around. We fully believe she is a mixed breed of several things which may include lab/ hound / weimaraner / or pointer. She is coexisting quite nicely with the other dogs in her foster home, but really doesn't interact with them much. She likes to crawl into her human's lap during down time and is quite affectionate. It just takes a bit of time and patience to get her to this point. We believe she may have been used as a potential hunting dog, which has led her to have a little anxiety and nervousness. She has adjusted quite well to her foster home on all levels including being house trained and crate trained, but she does require some throw rugs on wood floors. She thinks slippery floors are pretty scary. Winky is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
