SPIRIT has such a calm, sweet demeanor...a true gentle giant. She is about 9 years old, about 80 lbs. and is a white German Shepherd. SPIRIT is almost completely blind, but navigates extremely well...even in new spaces (we think she can see some shadows). She also has Lupus which affects her skin/nose. She will be seeing the vet this week to be assessed and to begin meds. SPIRIT was very close to being euthanized...but she is now safe and sound in foster care here in CT.
